At last, we have something other than a Red Bull on poll thanks to Lewis, who seems to be driving like his old self again though he's certainly not saying much.

We shall see when it's all said and done but yes, I was thinking this could rival Schumi's 02 season, maybe even surpass it since it'd be over 19 races.
Of course you can't compare decades and all that but he is on pace for one the statistically best seasons ever.

^I reckon its better than Schumacher, who in 02 and 04 had a huge car advantage over the field. The Red Bull is the fastest car out there most of the time, but in races its rarely been by much and he's even won a couple of races that he shouldnt have.

The big surprise for me is that in a year that one man has been so dominant the racing has been so damn good!

It wasn't even close, this is truly Schumi-esque. 14 podiums out of 15 races (and 13 of those were top 2s) and the lowest finish thus far has been 4th. Already impressive and if he can keep it up until the end it'll be one of the top years ever IMO

Congrats to Vettel. Great time but without doubt the best driver in the field now. Haters can hate, but just like Schumi let's not deny...in terms of flat out skill no one can touch him right now.

Again, congrats to Vettel for his 2nd title and amazing year.
15 races: 9 wins, 12 poles, 14 podiums and there are still 4 races left! Can easily hit the 12 win mark for this season.
My math may be a tad off but you get the idea: led 595 of 892 laps which is 66.7% and at one point it was 81%
Just damn, helluva year Sebastian.

Button seems to be the solid #2 though Ferrari looks like it has stepped up its sh*t and I expect Alonso to take it, at the very least have a tight battle to the very end.

Hami does seem to be a bit off pace this season it's odd.
Massa is quick still, but done. Kudos to Webber for his recent success but he's downslope as well. Really not deserving of a top ride, they should go to Kubica and Kam.

I think I gave up at Monaco, but Vettel's finally put the rest of them out of their misery, definitely the best driver this year.

Missing: The real Lewis Hamilton. The one who won the championship some years ago. He is now being outdriven by Jenson Button. A man not (yet !) rated in his same class. He is now left to race Massa while Jenson is racing Vettel and Alonso. Massa is a fallen star who should be miles behind Lewis. To watch Lewis now is really sad.

Where the heck has Lewis Hamilton gone ?

Cool race so far. Seems that Button will take it.
Hami and Massa are really fighting as true enemies.
Checo Pérez is doing a great race and he may finish in the points zone.

Renault were better as just Renault.  The whole Lotus thing has made them less competitive.  On the flip side, Lotus have got better since the whole Renault Lotus thing. LOL

The problems with Renault are financial and rather rediculus (betewen Genii, Renault, Groupt Lotus and the Russian guy thats involved, they've all been borrowing and lending money to and from each other to pay for the teamConfused) but effectively they cant afford to develop the car. That should be sorted soon and I expect they'll be better next year. Mind you, its clear Senna is the best able driver they've had this year.

You can't really compare the seasons that Petrov and Senna have had since Senna has only had what, 3 races?  And Petrov earned a podium at the beginning of the year, too.  Mind you, that was when Lotus Renault seemed to have their crap together.

I just want to see Petrov sign with a better team.  Lotus Renault seemed to start the year off fast, but it seems they're becoming less and less of a threat from race to race.  Also, I'd like to see Kimi in NASCAR full time in either the trucks or Nationwide.  Seeing what he could do in one race, I'm convinced he could be very successful, given enough time and in good equipment.

Schumacher's was not a race incident but I think because he was the only one who suffered from it, there was no action taken.

Hmm, Raikkonen in a Williams would be terrible.  Not because I don't want to see him return but because the Williams are so poor in quality at the moment.  Unless they have a fantastic car for next year.

I'd like to see Hulkenberg back personally.

Stewarding seems worse than ever this year, how can lewis get a penalty for the smallest of mistakes, but Rosberg can shove Perez off track and get away scot free?
