I believe there is a lot of wry smiles in F1 after seeing Schumi got a bit of a payback from last race. Wink

Holy hell not what I expected to see!
That crazy finn making a return would be cool but I unno, much as I want to see my favorite driver again it wouldn't feel the same.

Also I always seem to miss Singapore but up, awake and with nothing to do today. It's on.

Worried about the track, those kerbs seem real flimsy and they've already had to remove them from several corners, I'd rather not have the race red flaged so they can pick up the debris.

Yeah, him and Kobayashi are both sigend up for Sauber next year. I believe Perez did something like 1:00.2 around Fiorano, which in that car and for a first time with the team is a very good time.

Interesting bit of info. Sergio Perez has been performing in a test for Ferrari at Fiorano this week in the 2009 car, the F60. I dont know about the rest of you but I reckon he's becoming favourite to replace Massa at Ferrari for '13.

It would have been interesting to have seen has Rosberg would have done too.

Yeah, when I saw Liuzzi going sideways over the grass this is what imediatly came to mind for me:

Ortelli suffered a broken foot in that crash and I dont recall having seen him in front line LMP racing since.

It was a good race.

Also don't let James fool you, he is so happy Vettel won and dominated that he can't even type there are so many joyful tears.

Bruno Senna in 9th Big smileClap Glad to see him in a good ride, finally! Heard his name for so many years now can't believe he's finally getting a good start.

Nice race, I stumbled upon it by mistake but enjoyed it from start to end.

Michaels just doing what he's always done over the last 20 years, which is push the letter of the law to the very limit, and a bit beyond.

Surprisingly subdued race from Lewis, though the staight line speed of that Mercedes was prodigous to say the least. Good drive from Senna as well to get his first points. Shame about Perez, he would have likely finished 7th if the gearbox had held together.

I understand why McLaren is offering Jenson Button a fortune & a kingdom to stay with them for the rest of his life. Lewis spent a lot of laps hammering away at Michael Schumacher without passing him. Jenson Button passed Lewis and breezed past Michael after four corners. Then he takes Alonso too.

Michael was a bit naughty though. But that is the usual stuff from a middle aged office bully who sees younger guys coming up and resents it.

Yeah, it looks like Mercedes are running with a lot less downforc ethan everybody else. They're fastest things down the straights but they're loosing bags of time through sector 3. Plus, Schumacher hasnt been that good in qualy since his come back, definiteyl much better at racing.

I always thought the European GP should be in a different place every year. Ya know...have it European and not a 2nd Spanish GP (or German)

Also, I figured that'd be a good way to keep some tracks alive. Instead of being dropped entirely visit every few years, people will flock to it, it'll still be around and you can keep tracks while expanding still into new areas!

Least I can finally watch a GP again. Miss 2 and I feel like I've missed a season!
