Ha, luckily I aint tied down at the moment, it's mainly finance...of course when I worked was too difficult to find the time. Oi!
I missed Belle Isle, looks like RHR really had a spanking Still close, and Power will falter at some point. That long beach win he blew could really come back to haunt him!
Canada this weekend, always a good race. We all know I don't put much stock in practice, maybe too little, but sounds like Ferrari is looking better? Not that I expect them to outdo Merc at all, but maybe at least get to best of the rest?

I was very excited to see Helio win round 2 today from Detroit! It almost made up for Jimmie winning for the second straight week in Dover, along with my drivers having issues.

Montreal would be brilliant, more often than not you get a very good race from that track, though it's hard to imagine any future race would top 2011.

Agreed. Probably my favorite Jenson Button victory.

I'd like to see the Indy 500 IRL some day.
Also, I may seriously contemplate (schedule pending) going to Texas to see the F1 race. Always wanted to see Austin anyway so may be an awesome trip!
Edit: Oh and if I ever have $20 million (more?) to blow I'd love to have an apartment in Monaco facing the hairpin turn.

Looks like Kurt Busch will come up a little short tonight trying to get to 1100 miles due to possible engine problems in the Cup race. Bummer...
EDIT: And there it is. Got past 900 miles, at least.

Yes, it was, and a fantastic finish! I was fine with whoever was going to win once Dixon dropped out, but Hinch and Bell really screwed Carpenter over with their moves on that restart with about 25 to go. Kurt Busch impressed the hell out of me today, too, with his 6th place finish. Very patient, methodical top 10 from him. Now only 600 miles to go.

Second closest finish in Indy history I believe.

Congrats to RHR on winning the Indy 500! After 500 miles just barely edges out Helio, gotta love it. Really fast race going like 160 laps I think without a yellow. Gotta feel for Hinch who seems to get crashed out of every race. Good results for Marco grabbing 3rd, Munoz and JPM in 4th and 5th, nascar's Kurt Busch gets 6th and good ol Sebastian Bourdais finishes in the top 10. Appears Power was a bit down there, so RHR should take the title lead I believe? Great racing day as usual, stoked about the Nico, RHR wins. I won't catch the coke 600 but would be nice to see either Dale Jr of Tony Stewart take it and make me a beyond happy race fan.

Great to see ryan hunter reay win the 500, he certaintly earned it. Helio and marco also were fantastic. Was hoping that graham was going to have a better run, but he had car troubles for the millionth time it seems.
Unfortunate for hinch and ed, but i'd say it was james fault. Making it three wide into a turn doesn't work at
indy.
Also worth mentioning the good run hildebrand had early in the race.

Quite the eventful race, and a really good run from Bianchi to get some points, they're ahead of Sauber now.

Well, it may be only delaying the inevitable but Nico manages to re take the points lead with his 2nd straight Monaco win Awesome stuff. Brilliant. Soon as he beat Lewis off the start I figured he had this long as he doesn't make a mistake, or any car issues, and this exactly what we had.
Strange news about Lewis with something in his eye (I think?) hope that was nothing serious, though it did allow Ricciardo to make things exciting at the end. Rough race for Kimi who had to claw up through the field twice, and kind of blew it at the end.
Good results for Alonso, McLaren and of course Jules Bianchi who nabbed 9th place Epic
Since I watched the race on tape, now straight to the Indy 500!

Well, despite Nico leading every lap, it was a pretty interesting Monaco
GP with some interesting storylines. Also, Jenson scored a 6th place
finish! Almost feels like a podium! Besides Nico, though, the biggest
winner of the race has to be Jules Bianchi and Marussia scoring their
first ever points with a 9th place finish (even with 2 penalties). And a
driver I'm really starting to like is Daniel Ricciardo. Maybe I'm a
little late to the party, but he just seems like a cool guy and he seems
happy no matter what and he's definitely a rising star in F1, even
overtaking his 4-time champion teammate in the points today. As for
Lewis Hamilton, I'm not sure what to think of him anymore, but there
definitely is some bad blood between he and Rosberg. If you noticed in
the post race celebrations, they didn't even make eye contact with one
another and Lewis' podium interview was short and awkward.

We'll see by the first turn or couple of laps. Should be good, though. I'm glad Nico's pole was upheld after the controversy concerning the end of Q3. Seems like some bad blood is brewing between those two, for sure.
