Still deciding, We prog fans cannot be rushed into important decisions like this. Do you know the enormous amount of time I spend on this site already. I don't know if I could spare anymore. This decision is like when you go on a long roadtrip and you're trying to decide which 10 cds you'll bring for audio entertainment. Such a decision cannot be made on a whimsy, nilly, willy, whatever I grab will be fine with me spur of the moment. NO! One must ponder thoughtfully which cds will make the road trip most rewarding. This is some deep s##t! One cannot trifle away with such a monumental decision trivially!!

Drumbo did pretty well when I saw them, he was wearing a big white coat and hat, and got the voice. He even started getting the old gesticulating at the audience thing going. But sadly we had to leave before the end of the gig, as it was in London, and we'd miss the last ferry to the Isle Of Wight if we stayed till the end.

Was Beefheart with them when you saw them? The Drummer was singing when I saw them Beefheart had retired, they were still damn good though.
|
No, it was last year, Drumbo was singing. I'm afraid they lost most of their 'magic' when the Captain left. Nonetheless, it was a fine concert! (I bought a Magic Band T-shirt)
