^That way of thinking is completely new to me, I've always thought that the release date is all that matters. What does Moatilliatta say? I'm sure most of us are going to included that in our 70s lists, it would be weird if it kept popping up in two different polls.

I'm pretty sure this is a 1970 release.

It was recorded in the 60s though.

I contemplated including Let it Be for the same reason but decided that the work done by Phil Spector in early 1970 was sufficient to make it a 70s album.

No rated, just some chaotic order.

1. The Beatles - Abbey Road

2.  Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band

3. Help!

4. A Hard Day's Night

5. Magical Mystery Tour

6. Frank Zappa - Absolutely Free

7. Freak Out

of course Led Zeppelin, The Doors, some early Bob Dylan work, usual stuff. Sorry, I'm not good at years,

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

List edited again. I think this time it's pretty good, I'll try not to modify it again.
I added Charlebois' Québec Love and his s/t album and I changed the rank of some albums

I'll fix that.

I keep putting off making my list because I hardly have any rock from the 60s. Nearly everything I have from the 60s is jazz.

What's the bare minimum? Is it still 40 albums?

Jazz is just fine! Minimum is now only 25.
