Japan's crippled nuclear plant to the shores of the United States 6,000 miles away — the first time
a huge migrating fish has been shown to carry radioactivity such a distance.

"We were frankly kind of startled," said Nicholas Fisher, one of the researchers reporting the findings.

The levels of radioactive cesium were 10 times higher than the amount measured in previous years,
but scientists did not expect the nuclear fallout to linger in huge fish that sail the world because such
fish can metabolize and shed radioactive substances.

Of course they are, but don't be too upset or surprised, if Obama decides to launch an attack on Iran after the elction (I think he will get his second term), or at least gives full backing to an Iraeli strike. Iran will be dealt with at some point. Who is in the whitehouse at the time is fairly incidental imo.

Obama will want America to focus on the fact that the US economy has grown, while the EU economies have shrunk, and in many cases gone into deep recession. This is why he has been trying to convince that old hag Merkal to focus on growth, rather than austerity, because he knows, if Europe goes down the swannie, the US will follow, and as president he'll get the blame.

I'm in Europe and return on Monday to the US, where, it is safe to say, the Democrats have received good news and, if it continues on ita present path, the GOP can start writing its own funeral chant.
