Genesis:
1. Trespass
2. Nursery Crime
3. Selling England by the Pound

Agree with Laplace considering adding reasoning behind the list.

King Crimson.
1. In The Court Of The Crimson King: Love the really heavy stuff going on and the classical dark mellotron sounds.
2. Lizard: Jon Anderson's participation on the title track is one of his best vocal performances I think. great songs all together.
3. Islands: It's more mellow and soft than other offerings, but i like the melancholy mood of some of the songs.
4. Red: awsome disc, really enjoy Red and Starless.
5. Discipline: Songs like Thela Hun Ginjeet and Elephant Talk really are great.

Gentle Giant:
1. Octopus, probably the best they ever did, love songs like Boys in the Band
2. Three Friends, like the symphonic folkish sounds
3. Gentle giant: great debut,  Funny Ways remains one of my fav. tracks.

Yes:
1. Tales From Topographic Oceans: took a while to get into, but the movements each have something sparkling and beautifull in them.
2. Close To The Edge: can't be faulted
3. Relayer: Can't be faulted, one of their most frantic and heavy albums.
4. The Yes Album: great guitars all around
5. 90125: I know it's commercial dribble, but I just love the guitar and energy of the songs.

Pink Floyd:
1. Wish You Were Here: very cohesive album, less experimental than earlier offerings, but really a band that knows what they want and how to play it.
2. The Wall: dark and somber, great guitar stuff on there.
3. Relics: collection of early tracks, required listening.

Supertramp:
1. Crime of the Century: easily their best album, great music.
2. Even In The Quietest Moments: classic songs like Fool's Overture and Give a Little Bit, and Babaji make it a worthwhile album.
I'll leave it at two since the rest is good, but not brilliant.

Genesis:
1. Nursery Cryme: for me this is their best, Musical Box and Fountain of Salmacis are great.
2. Trespass: The Knife, Looking for Someone, White Mountain, what more reasons do you need.
3. Selling England: Just have to love the keyboards, Firth of Fifth is amazingly good.

luckily I'm in a list-making mood. I'll give my reasons, too, because lists are faceless on their own...

KC:
The Great Deceiver - even more fascinating than the studio albums of their most exciting era; the rare five-star compilation
The ConstruKction of Light - review here
Lizard - first album without Greg Lake King Crimson being weird as well as ahead of their time
Starless and Bible Black - I know this overlaps with my first choice, but basically I couldn't vote for just one album containing Fracture...
finally, VROOOM - for having "Cage" on it

GG:
Acquiring the Taste - most experimental
Three Friends - most kitsch
The Power and the Glory - most enjoyable

Genesis:
Nursery Cryme - I find it to be really involving and Harold the Barrel is a high point of trad prog
Foxtrot - obv
the Turn it on Again single - it's a good song ;P
(I didn't vote for Selling England because it gets worse every time I listen to it)

Don't know if you liked Supertramp, but if you're interested, I recomend you Brother Were You Bound or Even in The Quitest Moments and then if you liked them you should try their hidden gem, their debut.
