I did happen to listen to another Double Quartet album the other week though, with Elton Dean.  It was of course a tribute to the Free Jazz album.

I happen to like a lot of free jazz, Henry.

Cool.  I plan to check some of his stuff out (apart from the obvious Miles Davis stuff which I already know and that Carla Bley album, of course).

Jack DeJohnette is also on a Michael Mantler album with Robert Wyatt.

Mmmm.

But yes, I need more jazz and I need more ECM jazz in particular.

I'm currently listening to The Ornette Coleman Double Quartet - Free Jazz: A Collective Improvisation.
