Eloy again
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

This one is a tie for me. Generally I prefer Eloy to Triumvirat, but I have overplayed Ocean as a teenager to the extent that I hardly ever feel like listening to it now. It's a good album for sure but I actually prefer quite a number of Eloy albums to it. Triumvirat never really clicked with me but I have enough respect for Double Dimple that I won't vote against it here.

Oh, that's a harsh thing to say.
Everyone knows how much you love Triumvirat, but to say that Eloy's Ocean does not hold a candle to Illusions is a tad too much. Smile
Hey, calm down; I wasn't cursing Eloy or their album, or shouting profanities, and I did say something good about Eloy's Ocean. I don't think I was that harsh or abusive....and well, you already know where I stand about Triumvirat. Everyone is entitled to express their opinion around here.

I am very calm, I used a smiley face emoticon, I am not hostile. I just disagree with your statement.
I missed that emoticon. I am sorry if I overreacted. We will have to agree to disagree on this one, though. Peace.

I'm not sure. I'll probably have to listen to Ocean more before I decide. I'm not a big fan of the drum sound on Illusions. It has a very "thud thud" sound that kind of puts me off and I have a hard time getting past it. Fortunately the drum sound improved a bit on Spartacus but still wasn't perfect. If it wasn't for that Illusions would be a four star album instead of 3 and a half (for me).

Triumvirat have been one of the bands that I've heard a lot but never gotten into. I'll change that today or nowadays. Then I'll cast my vote. I love Eloy BTW.

Gosh, I love Eloy as a band and Ocean is a great album, although not my preferred one of them (that would be either Colours or Planets or Time to Turn). But Illusions on a Double Dimple is a splendid album and gets my vote here.

Triumvirat hits the spot much more than the Eloy album.

'Dimple is the best Triumvirat album whereas Ocean falls within the top five of Eloy. Have to give it to the former.

I've listened to all of Eloy's albums, but haven't heard any of Triumvirat's albums, so I'll have to take a rain check on this poll. Confused
