Here I'm shadowed by a dragon fig tree's fan
ringed by ants and musing over man.

I've honestly never thought about doing THAT business with PROG business. Me and my former (and only) lover would just turn on the Blue album (weezer) whenever we did it. It was great fun.

I GOT IT THOUGH! (not really prog) It seems like it would be fun to shag with the rythem (and hearty mood) of "Ping Island lightning rescue Operation" from "the Life Aquatic" soundtrack. GREAT FUN!

On a more serious note, I think it would be great to make love to "Never Comes the Day" by Moody Blues. It just has that mood. then have it skip to "Are you sitting comfortabley?" (Yes on the same album)
Yep both songs together, 8:13, thats PERFECT!!!!

Other mentions for those longer lasting gents.
17:06 "Dogs" - Pink Floyd, yeah it would definately work.
23:31 "Echoes" - Pink Floyd, yeah Floyd's just the Prog-shag King today arn't they?
13:30 "Shine on you crazy diamond Part 1" - AGAIN Pink Floyd
20:36 "The Remembering-High the Memory" - YES! I would kill to make love to this song.Very emotional. Get a girl in bed with this song and she will remember you forever (if she apreciates good melody)
17:12 "Stories without Words" - Harmonium, Beeeautiful!

If you and your girl (or guy) are into very VERY long sessions. Try listening to the entire album "The Snow Goose" by Camel. No lyrics, just pure emotion babe!

... oh and for those quickies... try these out

1:28 "Another Green World" (song not album) - Brian Eno
2:49 "Love Remembered" - Focus
1:47 "For Absent Friends" - Genesis, this may sound wierd to some, but at the moment my former lover would reach her climax she would begin to cry, she loved it. This song would probably have increased that. if your guy or girl is like that...
3:31 "Hands of the Preistess Part 1" - Steve Hackett

Man, this has inspired me to call the girl that I love and admit myself to her. :D And save her from her deadbeat Boyfriend! :D...

 maybe tomorrow...

now, in my case, that would be a draw between
DEEP PURPLE's "child in time" and SPINAL TAP's
"lick my love pump"

btw. married w/ 2 kids and not yet estranged to the
concept of sex... hurrah...

Ironic, indeed, because I don't think love had anything to do with it!

Wouldn't it be highly ironic if it was the side which begins with the words "I've tried to mend a love that ended long ago although we still pretend"?

Start at the beginning of "Talking Drum", and if you and your partner lucky, you will be totally expired by the completion of "Larks Tongues In Aspic pt. 2"

A challenge, a goal, an experience you will likely never forget.

dead things don't talk too well, they've got a shaky sense of diction.

Can anyone seriously tell me that they have persuaded a good (or bad) woman to have carnal relations with them, to the sound of another woman wailing away like a demented cat, over one of the most melancholy tunes ever made?! If so was she deaf?!? If this is your idea of how to achieve success with the other sex folks I think you're kidding yourselves!!!!

Of course if anyone can honestly lay claim to have achieved this then I am in admiration....

As a woman, I definitly think this song is a turn off for sex.... I can't even imagine having sex on it. The girl just seems to suffer or in total despair, what's sexy about this ? How can it be exciting to hear someone complaint ?  Even the rythm isn't interesting! IMO, nothing's better than a good old spacy song (Jean-Michel Jare ) and some candles... Or some Led Zed, I have to admit it is so sexual !

Well.... don't know if western music can do the job !? (joke :P)

Tangerine Dream has never let me down. (pun
intended)

Every woman I've been intimate with have said how
sensuous the music is, especially Beach Theme
and the stuff off the Risky Business soundtrack.
"they locked up a man who wanted to rule the world.
the fools
they locked up the wrong man."

Lord Qwerty once made love to the sound of Captain Beefheart's Trout Mask Replica.
Lord Qwerty is remarkably pretentious.

Trick: just tell her the Dutch think it's the best (dammit they should know)

My personal preference though would be Sigur Ros: Hjartaõ Hamast
