What a coincidence, I'm going to France with my French class over easter break.  I'd be interested as well.  I'm also going to take a list of Italian prog bands and their best albums with me because we'll be in a few places in Italy too.

Ose - Adonis is one of the 5 best French Prog albums from the 70's(Richard Pinhas at the top of his pyramid! Check out Xaal for 90's stuff.

I don't know much about French music, but Magma are the most essential prog group from France.  Also, Jean-Michel Jarre is a popular French artist.  Have fun in France!
