Despite my initial misgivings, the new DP album actually is superb. It's grown on me a lot and features some modern day DP future classics. 'Bananas' was equally strong, in my opinion. As for The Who, as far as I'm concerned this will be like when Kenney Jones took over from Keith Moon- it just didn't really sound right. Jones was just too slick to fill in for the wonderfully chaotic Moon, and I think the same will be true of Greg Lake. However, it'll be great to have the first Who album since 1982 available, and I really do hope it will be their best since 'Who Are You'. |

As long as they don't do a remake of "Still you turn me on"

YES!!
I can't wait to see what happens when you fuse Greg Lake with the remaining Who members... hopefully it will sound better than the last Deep Purple album. |

He still won't be able to replace the late-great John Entwistle!
![]() Have they stated any where when exactly the album will be coming out? |

I searched the forums but didn't find anything about this.
Apparently the Who will be releasing their first studio album in 20
years, and Greg Lake will be playing bass! This may be old news
to many of you, but I just found out about it today!
Here's some info on good ol' wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WHO2 Edited by lunaticviolist |
