Yesterday I predicted German keeper Lehmann to stop some penalties, today I have the idea that the Portuguese players will be less accurate from the 12 yard spot

Rooney sending off was harsh.I'm not saying that he didnt commit the foul but he should have got the benefit of the doubt because the Portuguese player was obstructing the ball.

Alan Hansen quoted after 45 minutes on the BBC that "the system is working not at all" and "Rooney is isolated"! In my opinion England is suffering from the 'Dutch' disease: many gifted players but no connection between the lines, no combinations and hardly any good individual action as the Portuguese players shows. I think that in the end the individual quality by the Portuguese will decide this interesting game.

Hmmm,England not firing again.Portugal just waiting to wrap the game up 1-0.

England need to change the system so that Rooney gets some support.

I expect a good game, especially because England must show something and they will play more forward is my opinion. I just saw the line-up and hope that Joe Cole and Rooney will be the forward players so 4-4-2

and no 4-5-1

! Deco is suspended but I am glad that Ronaldo will start.

For me it's difficult to choose a side: I follow the football in England since the mid-Seventies (and visited games in Manchester, Liverpool and London) but my best friend is half-Portuguese ...
