I think it doesnt depend on the genere but the band. but i can say that i dislike neo-prog and most prog-metal.

I don't think this is going to be a big surprise. But it is very close between RIO/avant, Kraut, and Italian prog.

Experimental, Jazzrock/Fusion, Krautrock, Psych/Space Rock
Used to love Postrock until it got hijacked by all the sickening indie/emo kids.....those curious stick to Tortoise, Labradford and Mogwai (up to EP from 99). though Mono (Japan) is pretty decent too.
