About 30 percent prog, i listen to a lot of classic and heavy rock, blues, classical music (esp. symphonies and violin concertos) and avant-garde jazz. It is useful to listen to other genres of music as it gives a better perspective of music as a whole, and a better insight into where prog influences originate.
.......amazing!!! |

20% Classic/contemporary 20% Jazz (mainly 60's-70's) 40% Prog (all flavours) 20% The rest of popular music |

roughly 50% prog
the rest is prog-related not yet entered in the artchives
VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV
and after seeing Raf's post I can say that roughly 30% of what I listen to is not in the "rock realm"

And you even have the nerve to proclaim it in public... My, these men will never cease to amaze me! ![]() As for me, I've never really thought about percentage, but I could say something like 60% prog (most subgenres) and 40% other genres - though I can safely say I hardly ever listen to non-rock music. |

I'm not sure. The amount of prog I listen to may vary heavily from one
week to another. I'd say somewhere between 60 and 85 % of what I
listen to is prog. It depends on mood, weather, the movements of the
cosmic energies, etc.

I'd say about 60-70% of the music I listen to is prog but I also love free jazz, punk, acoustic guitar music and minimalism. And now and then I have the urge to listen to the Sugababes!

I like musicians that experiment with sound and composition, but that's not necessarily prog.. besides prog I also love to listen to electronica and there's some great stuff there to find. I am an absolute sucker for chilled out electronica
![]() Guess it's about 50/50 (considering that lots of artists I like are included here) |

Right now, it is robably over 70% prog. That is due to all of the new music I am discovering (thanks P.A.
). But I listen to various other kinds of music. Jazz, Funk, Punk, Big Band, Lounge, Jazz-pop (Sinatra, Dino, etc.), Classical, Opera, Reggae, Ska, and good ol' rock. The only things I really don't like are country and rap/hip hop.

Probably about 80%... maybe 70% of it's in the archives, 10% of it's prog, but not listed, and the remaining 20% is usually fun, creative metal like Katatonia and Sentenced, or creative bands in other genres, like Calexico.
