Constructive criticism only, please! Don't just mindlessly complain!

Personally, I feel all of the new developments of the site are for the best - the new algorithm, the rating being displayed beneath the 20 key albums, et cetera, but the only update I think was for the worst (and I strongly feel that it should be changed back!) was the discography of the right hand side. It was an immensely useful way to quickly jump from album to album, and I really miss it. Why was that ditched in the first place? Any chance of getting Max to change it back?

I agree, it was a nice quick way to hop from album to album. Plus, it wasn't like it was hideous or anything, it actually flowed with the site's design.

I agree:
The new chart is good now that we understand the system Wink, eventhough I do miss seeing King Crimson occupying the #7 slot. Removing Proto & Related was the biggest improvement in my opinion.
Showing all the unreviewed ratings is good.
The discography running down the righthand side was useful, even if it did take a while to fill up with all the album cover pix. I'd like to see the band discography returned so I can jump from one album to the next without going back to the Bio page, but maybe without all the pix.
I'd like to see the noisy ads removed, the silent ones are fine.
What?

There was an option where you could have the right-hand side discography with or without pictures.

My understanding form M@x is that it's only been removed temporarily. The server was having performance issues, and removing it was a quick way of helping to address that. M@x intendeds to restore it though.

Remind me if it's not back soon and I'll check with him again.

No idea I'm afraid. M@x has a list of about 300 fixes and improvements to make!

Wow I always thought Max was a slack off because I never see him around. Now I see he's a busy guy! Kudos.

I've prompted M@x.

He's working on a new improved version of the site just now, so maybe that will restore the facility.
