Listen some Marillion (classic albums are Script For A Jesters Tear and Misplaced Childhood) This band emerged just when the others disappeared. Marillion kept prog rock alive. Led by singer Fish (with a very dramatic scottish accent), the band wrote great prog rock epics, but some prog pop love songs too!

ELP = drummer and professional maniac Carl Palmer, singer bassist (and sometimes guitarist) Greg Lake, and keyboard/organ/piano virtuoso Keith Emerson. ELP sometimes adapted classical compositions their own way, but they didn't seem to get less popular by it. They were multimillionaires and not afraid to show it. That attitude is hearable in the music too!<br><br></p>
