Focus have been to Swindon about three times in the past few years and I've missed them every time.  Hugh Cornwell is playing next year though... maybe worth seeing.

I think so... there was a wonderful documentary on the other night about him.  A fascinating individual and very underrated in terms of playing.  He's obviously more well known for his guitar and multi-tracking skills.  Yet his playing was unique!

His main influence was Django Reinhardt.

This Paul Williams is very much English, I believe.

I've actually forgotten the name of their first vocalist... I shall have to look it up.  But yes, Paul Williams did indeed join Tempest with Holdsworth, Halsall, Hiseman and Heckstall-Smith.
