Oh, and Mike, I gave Chupacabras a firm 4 when I reviewed it. A great album. How much Phideaux have you heard? I really want to hear more.

I saw that review. I was so proud of you Hug

The only other stuff I've heard is Doomsday Afternoon, which is a grower for sure - but stonking brilliant when it finally hits you. I've heard assorted stuff from other albums which is hit and miss. Rain Boy is a fun song from The Great Leap. Go to his Bloodfish website and you can stream 2 or 3 full songs from each album. I'll let you know how Number 7 is when it's sent my way Wink. I'm trying to convince him to send me more of his material LOL

Buying Doomsday Afternoon is just a matter of time.

Be careful with that one. It is in every single way different from Chupacabras, took me about 4 months of listening before I "got" it.

I haven't heard either of those but I've been curious.

Is there any way you could try to relate to me what it sounds like or whether I would like it?

Chupacabras' title track is a marvel of modern prog. A 20-minute masterpiece which could take on giants like Supper's Ready and they would fight like Super Saiyans. Doomsday Afternoon is an emotional masterpiece which makes heavy use of recurring theme and hooks. Listen to Formaldyhyde on PA and tell me what you think.

Now it's on to Wheel of FortuneDead

A childhood favorite, but to me now, it's glorified "Hangman."

I probably wont be able to afford to go to any gig I want to until next mid next year perhaps anyway.
Until at least February, I've got plans for money to spend on stuff.

Yeah, that's completely understandable.

I still need to somehow get the finances up to copyright my band's debut.

Depends on the gameshow. The ones that are innovative are fun to watch.

Well, if I want to get it copyrighted through the Library of Congress as opposed to a private organization, yes.

It doesn't cost much, but you know how tight finances can get around this time of year.

I'm just surprised it costs anything at all really.
Doesn't cost a cent to do that in Australia.

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure why it costs anything, but technically it is a service and thus I don't mind paying for it.

I'm not in a rush anyway. I'd rather have the album fully protected and wait to release it than rush it out there.

Also, another reason I don't mind waiting is that the first two albums are both concept albums that go together, so having the release dates of those close together is actually probably a good thing.
