The Pyramid Theorem thing is a prog metal band that is on the PMT chart, don't worry about it, the guy randomly posted it in here anyway, not a post or math band.

The name totally gave it away and by saying "prog power house" we all noticed it wasn't post or math. Did checked the samples though...not bad.LOL

second here I guess, they may record smth this year

and well, my boys, I've no news on Post-Rock, since I'm deeply into screamo and stoner this month The only one is that CRIPPLIED BLACK PHOENIX albums leaked, they're rather good, though too much PINK FLOYD-influenced Also if you haven't heard THE RIVER RUNS BLACK band, I wholeheartedly recommend you to find it . Post-Black/Post-Metal/Post-Rock, amazing stuff

Well in the meantime, while GREAT news of post rock arrive...you can check Marionette ID. Post hardcore meets post rock in someway and the best of all is that the album is free to download here: http://www.last.fm/music/marionette+ID or here http://www.marionetteid.hu/index_eng.htm

I don't know if it's already been mentioned, but did anyone love the new Evpatoria Report album as much as I did (I loved it a lot)? I found it pretty late last year, and was wildly impressed. Really good stuff.

The Ascent of Everest was pretty good too, but it didn't seem to have an identity of its own.

Maar right? I think I mentioned it sometime ago when it came out. It's pretty good. Wink

Checked them out it was pretty decent. Some songs seem to drag on a bit unnecessarily but well worth the listen.

Not complaining at all. I always take free stuff.

And Ian you should be happy to know that Somewhere Along The Highway clicked with me over the weekend. My jaw literally dropped at one part of Thirtyfour

BTW been digging a French screamo band, Mihai Edrisch, the past few days. They got some cool post-rock textures going on in the songs in an Envy-ish kinda way about the time of Footprints.

Albums are available for free here: http://www.mihaiedrisch.com/pagesUK/son.php3

Should appeal to yous.

^I'm not big on screamo, not because I don't actually like it, but because I just never really listened to it, maybe I'll give your suggestion a shot.
