Yeah, that's the funny thing about the AFC West. The last few years it seems like those teams were trying NOT to win it.
Except for the random years of Chargers goodness, no one ever was that good. It's like yay! We beat the...Broncos, Raiders and Chiefs........

But yeah, the Broncos are so far from glory now it's almost sad. I'd like to see the Raiders finally break their dysfunction and have a good year.

Actually I am confident that the Raiders have 7 wins within their reach this year.Weak division, Shanahan is gone and Denver looks absolutely directionless. Norv Turner is coaching an aging Chargers club and Kansas City without Gonzalez.....hell, we may even win this division.

Not only that, but the Raiders attitude wise is getting better with each day. With Cable in charge, the culture of me me me seems to be thankfully slipping away from this overwise dysfunctional franchise. Hell, Al Davis has been unusually quiet as well, which is a very good thing....

Ah... the beginning of a new year breeds  hope!Star

Well that's good to hear.

That's one thing I like about my Giants. They all, appear, to be hard workers dedicated to the game.
If not they'll just cut you LOL

Anyway, all these Giants fans are biting their nails about losing Plaxico.
The O-Line, D-Line, QB, Runningbacks, and defense is still intact. I hope this new guy they drafted can fill Burress' role. I've not heard of Hakeen Nicks...but supposedly he's a big guy.

Chiefs play their first one tomorrow against the Houston Texans. It'll be interesting to see how Cassell does without the receivers he had in New England. News from training camp indicates our receivers have a case of the droppsies. Pioli and Haley have always shown they have faith in Cassell by signing him to a long term contract, but have very little patience for incompentance. Apparently, our starting long snapper wasn't paying attention and didn't make it on to the field for a last second field goal drill and was cut a few days later.

It will be a process for this team, but glad to see Carl Peterson out as GM.

Have the Rams-Jets pre season game on (I need some background noise)
Just realized Shonn Greene (main guy at Iowa) and Mark Sanchez (main guy at USC) are both on the Jets.
That team is made of Penn State killers!!! AngryLOL

Also, sad to see defensive coordinator of the G-Men Steve Spagnuolo leave....but now he's coaching the Rams (my # 2 team). Hopefully he can help turn them around.

Yes, I'm actually impressed with it.
The least few EA put out were....well just that.
Sh*t for the sake of continuing madden.

This one really feels realistic. And the stats are much more varied....so you can't be the Lions and beats the Pats now easily.

I just wanted to take a moment to address this, I was in the Philadelphia area his rookie season and watched a lot of games with friends I hade made in the area, and I remember one of them asking me what I thought of the Eagles, and I said, that rookie Dawkins is awesome, I want him to come to Tampa!  Later that year I dubbed him as "Ball Hawkin' Dawkins" ..  Truly a fantastic player and have absolutely no doubt he will be inducted into the Hall of Fame as an Eagle.

PS. He's been on the Bucs on my Madden game every year I've bought it!

Hey now, Billy Mays is the man! He could sell you your own death, and you'd buy 2!
In fact I should by the Rams, god knows I can do better then everyone else has.

If only we could get rid of these idiotic Thursday night games.

I was told at one time there would never be a NFL game on Friday nights due to that they didn't want to kill High School Football. Thursday as well as Sunday and Monday nights are all about getting more money. Nothing more.
