Yeah, then the next day he went on the air demanding an apology, what a wuss. LOL

Still a bit of a mystery why Hasseltwit didn't leap to his defense.

She knew that there was nothing to defend. She let him dig himself deeper into that hole of his.

I like how Savage is calling out Limbaugh and O'Reilly.

What did Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower have in common?

Here is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around.
I didn't know of this until it was pointed out to me.
Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the
deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American
citizens that desperately needed work.
Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal's after WWII to create jobs
for returning veterans.
And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million
Mexican Nationals! The program was called 'Operation Wetback'. It was
done so WWII and Korean Veterans would have a better chance at jobs.
It took 2 Years, but they deported them!
Now...if they could deport the illegal's back then - they could sure do it today?
lf you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter 'Operation
Wetback', into your favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself.
Reminder: Don't forget to pay your taxes...
12 million Illegal Aliens are depending on you!

Are you saying it's actually fun to be an illegal alien? LOL
Although what you said about illegals and taxes isn't entirely true.  They do pay sales taxes and if they work in a factory they will probably get social security, medicare, and income tax withheld. Oh wait, who am I kidding, we don't make anything here except for rich corporate exectutives.

I can't believe we let this thread go dormant for two weeks.  What the hell's the matter with us?Tongue

And I would be remiss if I didn't post at least one cartoon:

As somebody who has been waiting seven months to get a Green Card (which I haven't yet got -delays in card production, after the $1,010 we shelled outAngry), without being able to work or leave the country, I can imagine how much fun it must be to be illegal. And anyway, I am a foreigner as much as those illegals, in spite of my Green Card, so I suppose I will be stealing something from you US citizen if I ever get a job.

Still working on trying to be allowed to work.  Sheesh!  Delays in card production really takes the cake.  You think you could be sent a green slip in the interim or something.

If only we got paid for posting in the PA forums. LOL

I actually drive by dozens of day laborers hanging out in parking lots of convenience stores looking for work and most likely not here legally.  I bear them no ill will.  They're just trying to make a living.  I drive a pickup truck and if you pull into the parking lot, you will get swamped.

I also drive by an abortion clinic that occasionally has protesters out front.  I almost always give them the finger. LOL
Frankly they cross the line between legitimate protest and harassment.  I have to resist temptation to hose them down with a super soaker.

So Newt Gingrich has decided that Obama has failed. Good stuff.

^ He decided that NOW. I think he and Limbaugh, as well as many many people, decided he failed before he was even elected....

Well, if anyone should be experts on failure, it's Newt & Rush.  Their party has taken failure to new heights in the past 8 years.
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

Good Point.

I must admit, gotta give Bush mad props. He went from, at one point, the most popular President ever to the LEAST popular ever. It takes skill to mess up that badly!

It was never true popularity.  It was sympathy, and the country pulling together after 9/11.

True, but still you should be able to hold onto some of it. I mean, the Dems would've eventually turned of course but to go all the way down to 26% or whatever it was.....Even alot of my conservative friends hated him near the end (for a variety of reasons). Either he wasn't conservative enough, wasn't fiscally responsible, he didn't band gay marriage like he implied, or they just got fed up with Iraq.

The dirty little secret may be that die hard conservatives are only about 26% of the population.  Also the realization of some that may have considered themselves to be conservatives coming to the realization that those self proclaimed conservatives that have the wealth and power, the true elites, are screwing them over.

90% of people in the US are retarded sheep who don't actually think of justice or consequences to anything ever.

Oh yeah, Gitmo is hilarious. It's easy to yell at Bush, but it's much harder to come up with an actual plan. Whoops! I can't decide whether Obama maintaining many of Bush's policies is an indictment of Obama or a vindication of Bush.
