never heard Bubu so I guess I can't really vote.. that said, YU is a monster of a band, maybe the greatest stateside prog band ever

Heard both of them. Anabelas is great but Sacred Baboon is one of my all time favourites.

I feel like Bubu is really odd and abstract jazz that I simply cannot enjoy, while Yezda Urfa's Boris is a masterpiece. |

Simply by gut instinct response, this is how I lean as well. A marvelous scenery filled with harmonies, haunting melodies, craziness, hard edge, rasp sounds and movements, bold and solid mesmerizing ideas. I am love the Boris album very much, quite different though. Much more mellow, but as passionate. Two fantastic albums. EDIT - actually not that different. If one takes into account Boris and His 3 Verses, the second part of that song, is comparable in energy levels to Bubu and while not as "crazy", is quite out there.
