I don't tend to like Gangster movies though.  I didn't care for The Sopranos when it was on either.

I just find all those Mafia films/series stupid.

My favorite mafia-related movie is Mafia!, so that probably gives you an idea of how much I enjoy them.

I liked Good Fellas, but I only have seen the censored version on TV.

I never watched The Sopranos, but that opinion is terrible, James.

If Dick Tracy is considered a mobster film rather than a detective film (or a hybrid of the two, for that matter) it's another mobster/mafia movie I enjoy.

That's because I didn't explain why I don't like those type of films.

Violence and Gangster movies just don't do it for me.

Comedy violence is better.  Hence why I prefer Tarantino films.

Man, SRs really do get a lot of posts, don't they?  This one's been open for a week now and we're already partway through page 102.

I could if I really wanted to, as long as they've not disappeared into the infinite depths of the JFF forum.

Some of the quickest page fill-ups I remember were the ones from roughly June to August of 2008. Nothing has come that close since, though what is happening the past few days seems pretty decent.

And, of course, this isn't counting the Velvet Room days. Not sure how the most post-intensive days of those compare to summer '08.

Something or other?  Sounds like an excuse to get away from the SR for the night.

We talking about the Jane Austen's Mafia? That was the most hilarious thing when I saw it in the movie theatre as a kid. I didn't laugh as hard when I watched it again a couple of years ago Tongue Still quite good though.

Löyly = steam and the associated heat in a sauna generated by administering water on the hot stones placed on top of a sauna.
