In 1984 Richard Wright formerly of Pink Floyd collaborated with Fashion's Dave Harris, to create an album called Identity. They called their team "Zee." The album heavily featured the Fairlight synthesizer, giving a cold electronic sound. In some ways it sounds similar to Jethro Tull's contemporary album, Under Wraps, but more sparse. I have a higher opinion of Identity than Under Wraps. Richard Wright does not sing, although Dave Harris has a similar (but not very good) voice. Harris wrote all the lyrics and plays a little guitar here and there as well as additional keyboards. Highlights include "Confusion" and "Cuts Like a Diamond"

I didn't really like this album, and I'm a Floyd fan. I guess this one's too poppy and uninspired. Even though the two songs you mentioned are some of the few I kind of liked. Another song I liked is Voices. However, the other Wright albums, Wet Dream and Broken China, those have some really beautiful moments.

I heard it once, but I didn't really like it; I think it's worth about 2.5 stars. As far as I have heard it, Broken China seems to me the best part of Richard Wright's solo output.
