Like in the Chameleon In The Shadow Of The Night and Silent Corner And The Empty Stage polls I didn't include the epic of the album (Gog Magog), which would most likely be the winner of the poll by a mile.
Where I had some trouble deciding which song to pick as my favorite on Chameleon and Silent Corner, this one was much easier. Faint-Heart and the Sermon is a brilliant track, probably my favorite of Peter Hammill.

'Faint-Heart and the Sermon' has to be the best PH solo song ever!!!
Kind regards.

As a hopeless romantic it's 'Again' for me. A sad song indeed...

I haven't heard it; how does this one compare to The Silent Corner And The Empty Stage?

I find it a better album than The Silent Corner actually. Both are great IMO, and there's quite a big shift in sound. In Camera features some very dominant use of synthesizers on some tracks, which one might like or not. I also think this album flows a bit more smoothly that Silent Corner. Also, the epic of the album, Gog Magog (In Bromine Chambers), is an essential listening for PH fans. It's one of the most haunting and dark pieces of music I've ever heard.

The Comet, The Corse, The Tail
FHATS, Again, NMTS all are excellent as well. Even the opener is good, but the rest of the album blows it away.
Gog/Magog would have easily gotten my vote if it was included.

Great album! The bonus tracks on the remastered edition are terrific.
The Comet closely followed by the Sermon
