My favorite Meshuggah song is either "Bleed" or "Dancers to a Discordant System". Or maybe "Straws Pulled at Random" off of Nothing.

Oh Hhai!

All right, I changed my mind a bit! After a second listen LFDO has an extra dose of RPI, and some more folky bits, but still not enough to be tagged as prog folk. Someone move it.LOL

And this M word thing I'm listening to now is very yummy. Who would've thought?Tongue

Vuvuzela Hero.  I can just see Joel Zumaya having to go on the disabled list from chest and lung issues from that game.  (For those who don't know, he is a Detroit Tiger who ended up on the disabled list with a strained forearm muscle as a result of playing Guitar Hero waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy too much).

The Minamo concert just got a whole lot better!

Satoko and I relish every chance we get to play together, as it is few and far between. I mentioned the Hillside show in the last newsletter, but since then, we've enticed Fred Frith to join us on acoustic guitar. The first set will be Minamo, the duo, and the second set will be Minamo plus one.

Please help us to spread the word about it. It's such a lovely venue, and real treat for us to play our wooden instruments in such an intimate wooden room.

Listening to Ghost Circus, a nice multi-national Crossover Prog band, doing some work, and doing some forum reading.

Hi guys.

Sur tant de mers, tant de planchers,
Un marin mort,
Il dormira
