Genesis. Which I never would have voted for a couple of years ago. |
Interesting...what is the difference for you? Please explain as I want Genesis to win, they are behind right now.

Currently a tie again.
We are so cleanly divided it's almost beyond belief.

I'd be happy if it ended up being Magma vs. Can. Wait, that's impossible. One of them will be knocked out this round (it'll be Magma vs. Can).

I really hope that doesn't happen as I don't think either band deserves the title.

I'm really impressed at how close this has been for so long.It just shows how evenly matched they are.

Let's just say that there's never been a band close to the harmonic, melodic and mostly rythmic perfection Yes managed to produce in their best albums, while I feel the Genesis-sound has been replicated ad nauseam, perhaps making it more "normal" to my ears. I still adore Genesis, but the crystalline aura Yes has is unbeatable to me. Gabriel owns any other Yes member musically, though. |

I voted for Yes since they could actually write catchy complex tunes. Genesis usually failed at this (or at least the catchy part), but made some beautiful music, which Yes also did.

At this point it'll be so close that I'll be willing to say "good game" even if Yes takes the title. I hope Genesis wins but I'll respect it if Yes does too.
