Somewhere I once read (can´t remeber where) that people who are big music fans - like us proggies, who spend hours on the web discussing music, don´t really care so much about sound, they often have old crappy sound systems, ... the audiophiles who invest huge amount of money just to get the right speaker cable with gold plated plugs, actually do not care so much about the music they listen to, as long as it has the perfect sound. I once met aaudiophile guy, he hardly ever talked about music, just about speakers, amplifiers, cables, etc.
I listen to a lot to mp3s, I have a old hifi and and a cheap cd player in my kitchen. As I travel quite regularly  I consider the ipod one of the greates inventions.

I looked around a bit and I don't see that anybody has posted a link to Anti-Depressive Delivery and their new album which is free to download. Then again I've never been accused of having a keen perception for the obvious.

It's called "The Best of Anti-Depressive Delivery" but is in fact all new material. Very good stuff.

Evolutive has added two albums as free downloads. Neo Prog is the genre.

There is now around 200 free ProgArchives albums, legal downloads, floating around in ProgArchives. Most of them are rather good. Some are brilliant. Enough to keep everyone happy.

Just wanted to add to AtomicCrimsonRush´s post, that it seems, that in addition to the title track of "The Underfall Yard" five other songs have now made available from Big Big Train´s website.

These are:

-Perfect Cosmic Storm (from The Difference Machine)
-Pick Up If You´re There (from The Difference Machine)
-Salt Water Falling on Uneven Ground (from The Difference Machine)
-Powder Monkey (from Gathering Speed)
-The Road Much Further On (from Gathering Speed)

All the best freaks are here, please stop staring at me. Marillion - Freaks (1988).

Free music kicks ass, but shouldn't we support the bands we love by buying their tracks so they can continue making great music??
