First time the Giants have given up 500 yards since 1980? Did they really say that? And I guess I give Eli credit for staying in there and taking the beating, but I kind of wish they woulda benched him and let the backup take this. The last few picks were meaningless, save him from humiliation and either run the ball out or put Sage in. Edit: While that did make me lol Caio...get outta here mang

Yeah, would be nice. Not much booze in the house, and I would love to be at a bar but there's this 10" of snow on the ground, and falling heavily. God is such an ass

Yeah that was a good play by whoever knocked it back inbounds.
What to say? Defense got shredded and they couldn't run the ball. That's pretty much game over from the start. The turnovers have been inexcusable but really, they were flatlining from the beginning.
And those 2 early games the Giants literally gave away are really coming back to bite em now.

That fumble was great. The Giants are hilarious how they just beat themselves with turnovers.
Great job by one of the GB players, didn't catch his name, to keep that ball in bounds.
Clay Matthews is a beast. I fear him chasing down Vick in the playoffs.

Argh....this game is done. I dont even care about the 4th quarter, I see no hope. Might as well quit watching, cut the middle man, and go straight to depression. Finally a nice drive, and a great run and Jacobs coughs it up....not even a dribble out, that thing looks like he chucked it into the air! And Kevin Boss was right over it, he could've fallen right on it but tried to pick it up

I never knew the Giants had the most turnovers on defense in the NFL until they said so. Huzzah. Glad they forced another fumble, needed all the help they can get. Also good to see the Giants pass game being explosive but way too many points scored. They need to turn this game defensive and hunker down soon. And yeah, penalties on the receiver? Oh Pat that's the craziest thing you've ever said. Oh, Eli's just thrown 30 TD's for the first time. Too bad he had to keep the picks in pace with it. I think part of his erratic play and bad calls (opposed to his efficient play usually) is because he has this more explosive offense. Dude was used to Plaxico and Toomer for years, while Shockey was his best receiver

What a terrible pair of plays by GB.
EDIT: A defensive player makes that same move a flag gets called. Of course why would offensive PI be called?

Plaxico killed the Eagles. I still wake up screaming sometimes. Nicks looks pretty great though. I wish we had a huge receiver with big hands.
Maybe the Texans would trade A. Johnson and ten first round picks for Kevin Kolb.

True, he should be replaced with Feagles at half time.
And I've grown to love Hakeem Nicks. He's our new Plaxico but better better in almost every way.

If Dodge didn't kick it out of bounds, you could have forced a fumble on the punt return, and thus prevented the TD.
Fire Dodge.

Matt Dodge kicked it out of bounds!
Too bad the defense literally just gave up a one play TD I wonder if we can blame that on dodge too!

How bad is that blizzard in Philly to postpone the game? Didn't they play a game in Cincy where the wind chill was -47F !?!
Some of the most epic games in NFL history have been played in really crappy weather.
|
The game could have been played, that was never the issue. The issue was fans people able to get home from the game.
There's expected to be about 10 foot visibility, and over 5 inches of snow to fall during the game, which would make leaving the game impossible for people without 4 wheel drive. If the game didn't get moved, I wasn't going to be able to go.

You want thousands of people coming in through the conditions? Remember, us common folk have to drive...the players can get choppered in and out

Only 16"!?! Vompatti walks 10 miles to school uphill both ways in that. I didn't realize that they were getting that much snow back there. I understand why they postponed the game now.
