Hottest team in the NFL to end the season: Detroit Lions.  LOL  They ended the season 6 - 10, but were arguably 4 plays away from being 10 and 6, and possibly 6 plays away from being 12 and 4.  They had a lot of 1 score losses this year, which could have been wins if only one play had gone differently; one tackle made; one catch called a catch; one tackle by the hair not called a horse collar tackle.  Woulda coulda shoulda if if if, but for the first time in years there is actually a glimmer of hope for the Motor City Kitties.

Me either. Our pass defense and pass rush are worse when we first met them. Their passing attack is more in rhythm than when we first met them. Our offensive line hasn't played any better.

They just match up very well against us. It's scary.

That said my dad would beat me pretty good if he heard I picked against the Eagles. So go birds.

Traitor.

Oh, I hope I'm wrong.  But I haven't exactly been bowled over with the Eagles play as of late.

Well, I said if the seahawks make the playoffs I'd be rooting for them to win it all. Thus, I must. However, I'll still be picking them to go out first round.

Picks:

NFC: Saints O'er Seahawks
          Packers O'er Eagels
AFC: Chiefs O'er Ravens
          Colts O'er Jets

I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive

Indeed, Raiders had a pretty decent year. If they can keep it up and fill some holes next season may be a good one!
But the exact can be said of the chiefs....

Giants barely eeked out a win over the Redskins Ermm although they have been playing surprisingly better as of late, at least. Thank god the season is over. Start working on next season now!
Need some help at O-line, LB and punter.
Also either a re-evaluation of their passing offense, or a TON of work to get Eli and the wideouts on track.
I don't care, not all these pics can be put solely on Eli's shoulders and while something needs to be fixed....Eli had the best completion % and most TD's of his career, over 4,000 yards and with a higher yard per pass attempt then Peyton. This was all with a great run game for most of the year as well. I'll take it.

I'm torn. Want the Rams to win, but the possibility of a 7-9 playoff team just fills me with joy (in a twisted way of course)

Well, will be easy to make my first round playoff picks this year (unless the Packers lose).  Going all wild-card teams in the first round.  If the Giants make it I'll have to think harder.

The Raiders just crushed the Chiefs today without their best player on offense and defense in Arrowhead with not much to play for. What does that say about the Chiefs?  Ermm

The Raider 8-8 break 7 years of losing seasons. Next year looks pretty bright. Beer

OK Giants. End the season on a good note.
Last time they played the Skins they ran all over em. 100 yards on 8 carries for Jacobs.

Thus far they've been leveling the defense, I hope they keep it up and don't stop running. Just please, don't stop lol

Edit: God damn it. ANOTHER pass to the receivers hands that got tipped and picked.
Poor decisions and throws aside, these 25 picks are not all Eli's I still maintain.

Hell yeah!
Rams/Seahawks in primetime!
This will be the highest rated game ever.

As a Rams fan I am bit excited....kinda lol
Al least they can go 8-8. If Seattle wins they will make the playoffs 7-9!

I am happy to see some success with the Rams. Hope they keep it up and add more pieces next year. May be on their way to a good team.
And I have to say, as much I wanted St Louis to take Suh...Bradford really has had one helluva rookie year.
Though, Suh also had a beast of a year.

Oh gawd, I can say with 98% confidence the Giants have no chance. And for once, I'm glad.
This season has sucked any and all joy out of it LOL
I really just want it to end after tomorrow and they can start fixing some problems.

EDIT: Oh! You mentioned the pro bowl Pat, man I don't even care a lick. Pointless game and even more pointless lists. Of course deserving players make it every year, but so many of these picks are just stupid and of course based on name/popularity.

For example: O'Hara made the pro bowl this year.
Damn good center, but he payed 6 games this year!! Just ridiculous.
Also, maybe his age is finally showing, especially coming back from injury. God, we need some new O-linemen

Let's go Rams!

If they win tomorrow, I predict they'll play the Giants Shocked (I think the Packers will lose tomorrow).

This year has been beyond horrendous, but to say Eli isn't that good is pretty ridiculous.
He did turn the corner. 08 was a great year, and 09 was pretty good, especially given they had NO run game whatsoever. Even this year has been decent statistically, except for the picks of course.

This year has been strange. Some bad tips, some very poor throws, but so many times the offense just seems out of whack. Like nothing seems in sync at all. Funny I was thinking that...
Just today Kevin Gilbride is taking heat for running too complex an offense. I had no idea how this was possible but supposedly the passing game is built on reacting to the defense and there are like 4-5 possible options for most situations. These wide outs are quite young as well.

I'm not surprised since I know Gilbride is from the Pass & Shoot school. I think this helps explain why the passing game seems SO out of whack. Add to it that Eli has a much faster offense then ever and Smith has been out a lot, and that guy is automatic. It all would also explain why he's been forcing the ball so much more.

So yeah, show SOME respect and beat up the Skins badly.
After that some serious change is needed.

Oh and the secondary is good. Rolle may not be the best but just a blitzer?
Phillips is a beast, Webster and Thomas are both pretty good corners. Better when playing physically I'll admit.. I was horrified to see them playing 10 yards off the receivers at Green Bay, and sure enough that was a nightmare.

Coughlin did bench Bradshaw for his fumbling. I blame the players for it.

I agree with you about the defensive coordinator though.

I don't know what it is with Eli. He can look great and then beyond terrible. I really think he needs to have a true QB coach. I also think it's time for a new offensive coordinator. Kevin Gilbride has become predictable and unable to make adjustments during a game. One thing I always liked about the Parcells era Giants was an ability to adjust both the offensive and defensive game plans during a game. The current Giants don't seem to be able to do that. If somethings not working, they don't seem capable of doing something different. Oh well, we'll have to see what happens this off season and beyond. Ermm
