He certainly changed the entire attitude around the franchise almost immediately. Of course, winning games also had a lot to do with that.

Rex Ryan came out with a great game plan. Granted, few teams have the personnel to do what he did, but give a lot of credit to him. And for as bad as he called the game in the blowout, he was that good today. Of course though, the Jets played great more importantly. Especially the defense. Great to see the whiny frustrated look on Brady's face as he was getting sacked or throwing the ball into the dirt.

Agreed with everything. The coaching and playing was perfect. Rex Ryan is annoying as all hell, but damn his team loves playing for him and while I thought it impossible, they backed up all the trash talking. Maybe Rex Ryan really is a mad genius after all. Oh also: I predicted Packers, Bears, Jets (and Ravens) Brings my total for this offseason to 6-2

Next week should be a great game. Hard to tell who will win that one.

If you watch the games he's not doing much. He's very smart. He knows where to go with the ball. He knows where the defenders are. I give him loads of credit for that. However, the throws he's required to make are simple. They're mostly little dinks and dunks. He's accurate, but most good qbs are on short/intermediate throws. IMO he's not an mvp for this reason.

Pat is right, and I wish more people would say it. Brady is a great QB as it was said, but he is not the God he's thought of, and it's proven that damn system they run is more important then the QB. Remember Matt Cassle? Not a knock him, but not started a game since HS to right off the bench and leading an NFL team to that much success? No, sorry.
And while I've been a casual fan, the way the Jets have played the last 2 seasons and their mentality I think has made me a legit fan.

Hell f**kin yeah! The arrogant Pats go down, yet again to the hands of New York.
I've been saying they were an over rated team, but they can hide behind their scary numbers. However, no team can go man to man and just beat em, except New York man! Coverage was amazing got pressure on him, often without blitzing. When they did blitz it worked superbly and the offense finally played the way we all expected. Just perfect.

Knowing the Pats history of coming from behind to win games, I have a feeling the Pats have the Jets right where they want them.

Indeed. And it does seem to be a trend, instead of putting em down keep him standing and try to strip it. I'm ok with it, but you need to for the tackle first. Don't let them burn you in space. But once you have yourself on him go ahead and try to punch the ball out.
Impressed with the Jets. Defense has been playing great! Offense has done well enough, but would like to see a bit more. Have some more cushion. And lol 2 tricky plays both fail miserably. Maybe in this point of the game just do what you do and keep the trickeration for the small time teams? Please.

^ I will say one thing......Tackling has become a lost art, for every good open field text book tackle...there are 10 missed tackles. Everyone wants to be a ball stripper.....that % is so low, just tackle the guy...jeez!

Yeah, at least the Rams would've given a bit more fight. Speaking of which, have to give credit to Bradford. Had one hell of a rookie season, and IMO better then the numbers indicate. And I know, I know. Whatever wins....but god watching this Pats offense just pisses me off This spread offense behind the line throws and 2 yard passes. At least with Moss there was some deep threat. With Branch, Welker and all these small guys and tight ends the offense is even more of a small passing game. So annoying. But hey, it's tough as hell to stop. OK gunna watch the game now and quit posting Lets go Jets, keep up the pressure and coverage, and make some better tackles!

Well minor congrats to the Seahawks to making it as far as they did. In the end, they looked very much like a 7-9 division winner. I would have loved to see the NFC championship here in Seattle, though the way the Packers are looking that would have been a rout as well. In the end, we get a good match...Chicago vs. Green Bay. I am looking forward to seeing that game. It should be brutal.

Can you tell me where we're headin'?
Lincoln County Road or Armageddon.

Well to be fair....they won the NFC west. Granted that's not impressive in the slightest but all this talk about them not being deserving, what do you people want? They won their division, that simple
And I'm not sure how to feel about the Pack/Bears game. I would've said Pack without a doubt, but the Bears o-line is greatly improved, as much as I hate him Cutler is in sync with that no name offense. The game will either be a passing fest, a defensive game, or the Packers completely shredding them. I still pick Green Bay since I think their D is a bit better.

That's why I said "it is what it is.." Agree they are champs of the NFC Worst...won it fair and square against the Rams...They just came up against a team that was full strength on offense and defense and it showed.
