Guys...PA has just about the same level of a****les now as when I joined. I think the mods are more effective now, though.

Also back in the good old days we could talk outright about drug use, even admins got in on it!
Though they would never come close to lasting this long.

Oh yeah, as some a****les leave more will fill their place.
And I'd agree about the admins, though I suppose that's part of the reason the place is not as fun now.

I know, I'm kind of trusting in mu uncle's word on this one. I really never used Usenet and only red about it recently (about two years ago, I think),  but he said that AOL ruined it big time.

Besides, back then these comunities where so small and closed, it couldn't last for long the way they were fashoned, they were from a time the internet was an exclusive comunity, not a mass comunity, like it became from the late 90's onwards.

Reminds me of this teacher I had in HS, he was SRS about the rules.
Like enforced every single one.
Also kids always tried to skip pep rallies...he would stop like 40 over the course of it and write em all up.
