Second Life Syndrome.
It finally convinced me that prog metal can be really excellent after many disappointments.
I also like The Whirlwind, The Underfall Yard and X very much.

The Whirlwind gets my vote easily. The Underfall Yard is excellent too.

For me the answer has to be Big Big Train. A superb album encompassing everything which is good about Prog. In someways it has an essentially english feel about it. Although the other albums are good woth the Riverside album another favourite album of mine, it's the Underfalll Yard I play most in the car

King Crimson. This batch is quite weak for me, all my favourites were in the previous group.

Riverside, but this poll has already killed off most of my 2000-2010 favorites.

Traced in Air is easily the most exciting album on the list.

I believe in the power of King Crimson.

I'll vote for the mega-popular this time (King Crimson) just over my second favorite on the list, Devin Townsend. KC has the best chance to defeat Porcupine Tree, after all.

the only album of these I've had is Stati di Immaginazione. I haven't listened to the album since 2006. I was very big on classic PFM at the time (Storia di un Minuto, Per un Amico, and L'isola di niente) and was very disappointed with Stati... I found it so bland.
