I thought Germany faced Italy, (historicaly that is a game which have take place since roman empire times, as an historian an encounter between Germany and Rome is more symbolic then most games, the German-Roman Pope/Empire, so much history, , Spain - Portugal, where to start, nabours, and all, share same peninsula, while Spain team is dominated with Catelanians, (who are the Catelanians chairing for, Portugal or Spain...??), i know football and politics should be discussed together,, but their is just so many historical ties between the four semi-finalsit not to be all gee-gee geek,

You're right, my mistake. Well, Germany and Spain in the finals wouldn't be a big surprise to me. Yes, it's Germanic peoples against Romans like in the old days, only more civilised. I was reading a book about the Germanics conquering Rome. Quite interesting. Already a lot of failing European politics in those days, it had more sides to it than you might think. Spain-Portugal, yes, neighbours... Don't know what the Catalonians will do as supporters. I'm for Germany now. Thursday I'm going to watch the game with a German who's living not far from me.

yeah thier is just to much win in all the four countrys, no cry babays, no divas (well Ronlado is, but he is also too cool 4 school, and a fantastic player golly he is good and make it look effortless), Spain is like a meat grinder, grinds the opunants with flurry of passes and ball drilling, also Xavi Hernands is a demi-god, and Iniesta is not far of, and omg Alonso omg omg, Fahbregas, omg omg omg Casillas,, also Italy, Pirlo so arogant it looks okey and , his penality was just so . and Germany gomogmgomgog, so much awesome, solid and technical not just a machine but a living organisme who maltractate its oponents with sharp, fast and vicios snappy attack harpoons, it is exactly like this image

it is the four birds of the four elements, their is also the four dragons and four wizards of the elements also , none of it is related to football, but the grand fight between the elements can be simialr to the intensity of a football match and spessially semi-finals between old frinds and alies

Portugal should have scored in the 90th minute. I think they were four against three. OK, 30 minutes more.

To what? This snoozefest of a football match? I'd rather sleep.
I actually considered turning it off, but since I had watched 90+ minutes of the game I figured I should watch it 'til the end.

I thought the whole game was pretty boring.
But now it gets exciting. Penalties!

Spain should have won it in normal time. They were clearly the better side today and deserved to win.

My wife was happy that Italy scored but she said that now the Nazi's would come back strong.
