Oh, I definitely need to check that one out! Chris Corsano is one of my favorite drummers (and obviously a stellar improviser). There's Seattle concert that Jandek released that features Sam Coomes (of Quasi, Built to Spill, Donner Party) on bass and Liz Harris (from Grouper) on vocals. That one is terrific.

First listen to Anglagard except for Jordrök i think i heard once, it's pretty good so far.

Is it completely instrumental? I might check Anglagard out if it is (not a fan of non English vocals).

I'm slowly and successfully getting into Pawn Hearts. After 4 listens, I finally maybe get Man-Erg, and the other two are slowly revealing themselves.

No, i know the first song Jordrök is instrumental, i'm on the second track now and it has vocals, it's pretty great and i also can understand much of what they say since i'm norwegian.

The second Anglagard album (Epilog)  is all instrumental, FYI.

I'm pretty impressed, but i need to listen to it more since i don't really remember much from each track, but i guess that's how it is after first listens, i also need to hear the other two albums, are they great too, or better?

Why can't it be October already? Approve I've been waiting for this album to come out for years. It certianly has a lot to live up to, seeing as The Great Misdirect was an extraordinary record.
