Ah ok. I don't really know my Elton John too well. I like him but was never a big fan. So I haven't heard of Dee Murray. Jeff Porcaro though, now I def know that guy from the Steely Dan and Toto records.

Dee Murray was a very good bass player, a natural just like Jeff.
Bandmate Davey Johnstone believes Dee's musical skills were not fully appreciated, and in March 2011, said he was working on a documentary about the bass player. Edited by aginor - February 19 2013 at 12:27 |

Looking back on the past few years dropping out of the public school system was the best decision I ever made.

They're really weak, especially compared to the other Wetton Crimson albums |

Well, my Mom started homeschooling my brother and she asked me if I wanted to too. I said yes, and although I didn't realize it at that time, it benefited to my education more than the public school system ever could. |

Anything is bad when compared to Red.
Plus Exiles is one of KC's Top 5 songs. Brilliant performance from Wetton, the voice just fills up the atmosphere.

It sounds weak to me. Sure, the vocals on Red are very muddled, but at least they're sung with energy

Wetton's singing is kind of a nonfactor for me. Not particularly good nor bad. It's not really a selling point for any of the KC albums.

I wonder how long most of my generation will live, with all this advancement in medicine and technology and the like.

I always thought he sounded like an old English man on those albums. They're vocals that you just get used to because the music is so good.

Probably not much different than the average life-span now. Those things take a couple of generations to advance. Besides, there's enough things in the world that will kill us before we reach 50, like cancer, violence, stress, bad medication, natural disasters, wrong place wrong time stuff, terrorism, nuclear holocaust, zombie apocalypse, McDonalds, Fox News, MTV, WWIV, etc.... |

Besides, the average life expectancy is still only 66.12 years, or 24150 day, as of 2011, which is higher than it used to be 50-60 years ago, but I think there are more ways for humans to die than there used to be. However, as of 2011, there are about 363,554 births every day with about 152,000 deaths worldwide every day, so there's still a 2:1 ratio of people being born to dying.
