Wich Anthrax album do you consider the best? You might like this band, right? Since you are fans of Rush too.
My favorites are Among The Living and State of Euphoria.  They became a bit more commercial with those albums.  I think most fans favorites are probably these, Spreading the Disease and Fistful of Metal.  Their rap metal song I Am The Man is a special favorite of mine.

Thx Thumbs Up Will check it out.

Lying on the floor of my brand new apartment. Nothing but me, an ipod, my phone and some shoes. Still feels mighty good. Now I just need the ol stereo

Congrats Andrew.
The second year tends to be more about the groupies though.

First day of sun in Paris, and I get a cold. I'm a champion, in a way.

One should at least think so, yet here there is a fine layer of saw dust everywhere due to some neglectful carpenter I suspect.

Thanks man. It's not the biggest place, but it's my own and there's room for my music.

^I've got the same, a nice little place of my own, with just enough room for me and my music. Don't need anything larger really, although it would've been nice with a slightly bigger kitchen, one where I don't have to stand with one foot in the oven while doing the dishesLOL

Have you decided what will be the first album you put on in the new apt?

I remember when I moved into my first house (i.e. bought, not rented), the first CD I played was "Aftertaste" by Helmet.  Somehow I have committed that to my long-term memory.

Monsieur Beard: I have had similar kitchen facilities myself, and it sucks if you are remotely like me, you love to cook! The kitchen here though is brand spanking new, which in turn explains all the saw dust...

Steve-o: I am thinking hard, because let's face it, just listening to music here on my ipod doesn't exactly introduce my presence to any of the neighbours, - and part of me actually wants to start it all off with Capitan Beefjerkyvic' Fish Face. I am not sure, it could backfire horribly...
Maybe The Stooges - Raw Power or David Bowie Lodger.

Hey what about Lou Reed Berlin? Manfred Manns Nightingales & Bombers? Prodigy Experience perhaps.

Both Berlin and Lodger sound worthy as make-my-presence-known-without-frightening-neighbours-and-cats-albums. Plus they're good.
