I actually really like that rift. I can jam so hard to that.

Coming up with song titles is probably the only thing I'm good at anymore.

Just heard about the Boston Bombings. My heart goes out to the injured, families of the dead, those who attended the marathon, and everyone else in Boston, who are probably scared sh*tless.

I get to play drums for a combo at a pretty big jazz festival here in Daytona, Florida.

So far we will be playing Recorda Me, Four, Intrepid Fox, Have You Met Miss Jones, and possibly Armageddon. Stoked.

That sounds pretty sweet indeed Austin. Let it rip then!

Hey Steve, I have completely forgotten to tell you how much I've enjoyed those Dungen reviews you did. I am just so freakin forgetful these days.... I really got a kick out of em, and I love the fact that somebody else is as mad about Dungen, as I am.
I also think they've become more known round the forums. Maybe that is your doing compadre?

Thanks man!  I doubt I've done much influencing, as I think I've only reviewed Dungen 4 so far - but I got a nice PM from BrufordFreak who loved that album as much as I did, and directed me to another R. Fiske-related band called The Amazing, whose latest album I bought just recently.

After a few months of absorption, I think I can safely say that Dungen 4 and Tio Bitar are my two favorites, but all six albums are excellent and will probably secure them as "best new find of the year" for 2013.

I've been getting back to that "fringe RPI" thread I started a few weeks ago, and I've heard some great new stuff there.  Thanks for your contributions there, too.

Hey no prob Steve. As the weather turns for the more sunny, I too am reaching for the Italian albums in my collection. I'm glad to be of help, if any, in alluring you into explore the scene further.

Both Tio Bitar(Ten Bits) and 4 are also high on my list - and I guess it's that slightly fusiony twist they've got. Still got that psych vibe though that I really dig.

And hey I've been talking to Drew as well - especially about Reine FiskeBig smile
