What, no B.L.U.E. or Gordian Knot? Personally, my favorite album by my namesake is his jazz collaboration with Patrick Moraz, Music for Piano and Drums.

I've only heard Crimson, Yes, and UK. Though I like Yes best, I guess Bruford was better on King Crimson.

Definitely solo, especially his fusion band from the late '70's/ early '80's
Not only was he there an imaginative drummer, but also a great composer.

It will always be Crimso for me, but Yes, U.K. and Bruford are not far behind. Damn, I love 'Gradually Going Tornado' bucketloads.
