Wow, An old poll that was resurected because it's so good. Fragile.

Surely Fragile. It's not that consistent (with all those bits of filler), but Relayer doesn't really go past The Gates Of Delirium for me

No can do, comparison-wise. Two significantly different versions of the band that were both superb in their own right.

Fragile by a good star
|
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

Relayer - but only because it happens to be one of the greatest albums ever made...

I enjoy Fragile more so it gets the vote, but I do like Relayer. There's somethig refreshing and slightly chaotic about it. After TFTO it sounds like they had advanced 5 years.

I feel there is maybe too much "good stuff" crammed into the Relayer, which can make listening experience a little tedious, and even cause sensory overload. Fragile is sophisticated and multifaceted, but sufficiently tuneful, tasteful and crazy-free .. which is why my vote goes to Fragile :)

I don't like Relayer at all, and Fragile only a little bit. So my vote goes to Fragile.

Relayer, and I'm pissed that the forum decided to "error" and delete my large, thorough post several minutes ago.

That's why I always select my whole posts and select copy before posting them, so in case something goes wrong I just have to paste it.
