You are nasty and no need to say what you did here. We do not need people like you here, be nice or you'll be on your own. Why would you think saying what you did and think it's ok, this I cannot understand. |
uhhh, I'm just being realistic unlike you. If you got to know me I'm very pleasant person, it depends how you want to interact with me. I don't need any unsolicited advice especially coming from you. Nickname420, You see now how what you say effects and hurts other people, you too were offended by what I said and disagreed by saying that you were a good person in reality? What one says has consequences, why not instead be nice to people? Life is short and for me it's not a cliché it's true, life is too short to be angry and fight about egos. All this is not important, we should come here to escape from the harsh reality and come here for pure enjoyment. I do think you were misunderstood and infact are a nice person, pls think before you say anything, think positive and be nice, I think you are nice :) P.S. Peace and a hug to you :) N.B.: Also; Thank you very much what you said, Hercules, much appreciated really :) xxxx

speaking about Canadian people here above, awww I just recently watched a made for tv movie called Diverted. It's about how a population of 9000 accommodated and made 7000 passengers feel welcome when the planes were diverted during 9/11. The people of Newfoundland were so nice, the Governor spoke on radio to all citizens to help the unfortunate (maybe lucky) plane passengers that had to divert to Newfoundland because the USA airspace was shut down. They had set up schools etc with beds, bought all fast food available in their town etc to accommodate the passengers and also opened their homes up for people carefully set up in rows so they could use their bathroom to shower etc, each house owner, each person handed a towel and a bar of soap too to use their bath or shower. I cried, this made me love humanity again :(

For the clever folks on this thread - nice job derailing the topic from music suggestions to a drugs debate. You know who you are. Bravo Now, in-keeping with the topic, try Landberk or Dungen. Even though I listen to them with a clear mind, I wish they were around back in the day. |
Good idea, a great track to listen to under the influence or not is Pink Floyd - Echoes Pink Floyd Echoes-Live at Pompeii full

No drugs for me. If the music isn't good straight then its not good.

All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

Actually, not my case at all... Being stoned made listen from much closer and opened a whole new perspective but also acctentuated the flaws of the three-minutes 80's pop tunes. It's as if I could almost tell where the cuts and pastes in the tapes where done just to repeat the chorus or special lines during the final production stages. I also loathed most of the these cheap synths and rhythm boxes, because they really soundeed atrcious under the influence. Part of the reasons why I dislike the 80's in general is my doobies consumption (which was at its apex)

Actually the good stuff when straight are enhanced when stoned. That's why toking was great

If you guys are gonna keep commenting on music to listen to not high, wouldn't it be logical to make another thread discussing music to listen to sober instead of adding your 2 senses/unsolicited advice to those that smoke or don't care or just want to find some groovy music to listen to while sparking one? I fully understand you don't need herb or any substance to enjoy music, music is my life and I live and breathe it to the day I die regardless of what state of mind I'm in. You guys were complaining that my debating derailed the thread but you guys keep derailing this to the sober support group. Not judging, but some of you (you know who you are) gotta realize as well when you contradict yourselves and please for the last time for you sober sallies make another thread if you guys have the urge to comment on your sobriety or comments that already been written. God bless and stay safe.

I guess those that still haven't cease to understand my point. I guess you guys have been sheltered from the dark, morbid reality of the internet. I know life is short, that's why you should learn from your mistakes, apply criticism and stop repeating cycles like so many of us are now. I didn't disagree with you that I'm a good person, I disagreed with your weak criticism of my opinion. I was hoping to been proven wrong, not "you are nasty and no need to say what you did here". I'd love to be as naive as you. Soo, what does your relationship with Tom have to do with anything. Stop sticking up for each other and stick up for yourselves, I think at your age you should know how to. This world advances more everyday, it's survival of the fittest intellectually, the more you guys live under a rock the more behind and obsolete your thinking becomes. Whatever, if you guys don't get it by now that's sad.

I know you're not here to make friends (as you said earlier in this thread), but then why bother expressing yourself where you're hinting we don't want to hear you or not interested in what you say. Yup, this is opublic forum and you do have the right to make your point (some of which I agree with, if I can remind you )... But once or twice is enough (we're not stoopid)... you've now done it 7 or 8 times in the same thread and in an aggressive manner. Save yourself your (no doubt-precious) time to write out your prose and the aggravation you seem to go through in being misunderstood. Unless being masochistic, I don't see why you keep at it in this thread (not sure if you've particpated in orthers in the few days you've joined). Why don't you stroll around and see if there are other subject than the marctic-related issues to be enjoyed on the forum? As for the thread high-jacking, while the nature of the subject makes it prone to be, talking about how toking while listening is still "on-suject" (IMHO, anyways), the pros or cons of drug usage in life in general seems to be a little out-of-topic. During the four pages of the thread, there have been a few specific suggestions, while others have pointed out that most of their record collection applied to this "bizarrerie", and this is like making a whole lot of suggestions at once. PS: je voulais juste partager ce petit moment de réflexion un peu plus profonde de ton apparition un peu manquée, mais assez percutante sur ces fora.

Any kind of junk can sound good when you're high. Try finding music that sounds as good when we're not high and you'll really have something special.
