Hello!

I've been on this forum for quite a while, but I've only really lurked. Figured that I should really start getting into the discussion aspect of things.

Anyway, my name's Adrian, and I'm glad to be part of this community of prog fans.

My prog rock journey started with Pink Floyd. I started listening to them seriously at the age of 15, and immediately found them to be my favourite band. I found out that they were prog, and so I began to explore the genre with the help of a couple of Spotify playlists and recommendations from a certain user on Reddit.

Those got me into King Crimson, Yes, Genesis and a few other prog bands big and small. And my curiosity went further, and I continued to explore bands and albums even beyond playlists. And I found that most of the music fit my ears pretty well, which was (of course) a very good thing.

Now prog rock is my favourite genre, and it's one of the only genres that I invest much time into listening to.

I'm currently into listening to prog bands old and new. Some of my favourite classic bands include Pink Floyd, Yes, King Crimson, Rush and Harmonium; meanwhile, I've also been looking into modern bands, like Porcupine Tree, Wobbler and Southern Empire.

Looking forward to making some productive discussion here!
