I am in search of really psychedelic music, with an immersive ambient and smooth melodies, something that can be described as a hard/pure trip or somthing close to this, like Ash Ra Tempel or Gong (You).
Any suggest?

I don't really know so much of this music, but I endedup buying one album that I guess fits what you are looking for. From the swedish band Algarnas Tradgard. I think they only made one album, so don't make me write all that name here.

Yes Framtiden ar ett Svevande Skepp.... something. Nice one but they made two. I just posted their Delayed album which was recorded in 1974 and shelved till 2001. The band had developed some playing skills in between the two recordings and this is more heavy psych/kraut than their far out debut. I actually prefer the delayed one. Highly reccomended!

+Achim Reichel & Machines - Die Grune Reise (Dailymotion-link)

This tune fits the op's description best, but the whole album is fantastic:

Agree! I'm surprised no one's brought up this most psych of psychedelic songs....

Or how about some early 70s acid rock?

The United States of America album is one wild ride. It's sort of a meeting point between psychedelic, experimental and proto prog. Interesting stuff for sure.

As for Ozric Tentacles I don't really consider them pure psychedelic but close enough I guess. How about Djam Karet? Anyone know them? Kind of like OT, early PT, KC and PF all rolled into one.
