Look forward to hearing that Nickie.. I don't believe I've heard any of his stuff before.

Nnecra Packê obscure enough for ya?

Typical weepy ballad Herakleïtos from sole album Paracelse (2002) by the French evil space rock overlords.

That is correct.

Well then, let's see if we can get him a little exposure here. Clap

So obscure my failing eyes read it as Necro Pancake. Which is going straight to the Avant/Occult names thread.

I'm taking one of my favorites for last year from Fly Pan Am's album "C'est Ça".  This band began as a break off of "Godspeed You! Black Emperor" and has morphed into this experimental, electronic band that has a more avant sound than post rock on this new album.  This was the band's first release since 2004, so they have definitely "reset" their sound for this album.

Wooohooo!

I'm diggin this stuff. Spanning the genres, new stuff, old stuff and mostly stuff I hadn't heard. Going to be hard to vote.

Almost enough to start populating the poll.

Keep 'em comin'.

^Maelstrom is pretty tasty.

The nominees are coming pretty quick. But I'm sure we'll do another. Its a blast to see everyone's under-the-radar stuff.

Glad you liked it....people have mentioned Maelstrom before....it is an interesting mix of prog styles.
I knew this guy a few years ago who turned me onto many unusual things and that was one of them.

Am waiting to make my decision on #3 for the #9 poll first before listening to any.  Might have to sleep on it, we'll see.  That number 3 spot is a toughie.
