As of this morning, we have results from the four volumes of these fun pol series, so let's have the final round and see which 60s/70s prog band had the best name! We have six instead of four finalists because there were bands with equal votes from volumes 3 and 4. (Also, my favorite Moving Gelatine Plates didn't make it to the finals but the contenders are still amazing) Cast your vote and let us know who you picked!

Atomic Rooster....totally random name, love it :-)
Also loved the band back in the day, formed from the remnants of The Crazy World of Arthur Brown with two epic members in Vincent Crane and Carl Palmer.

Nektar and Steely Dan won the polls they were in ...
Atomic Rooster and Return to Forever are my favorite out of this bunch.

RTF....then Atomic Rooster.....Jethro Tull is one of the dumbest names imho....but a fan of the music nevertheless.

How about this: first band to reach 15 votes gets the win? Atomic Rooster are winning right now, let's see if this will change.

Where are these Jethro Tull votes coming from? Literally one of the worst names in rock history, lol. Love the band, but that's a waste of a name if I've ever heard one.

Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

An 18-th century agriculturist's name is terrible for an eccentric prog rock band? OK then. I like the name.
