I mean, my favourite Tull songs may not be ones you like. Especially considering you're not their biggest fan. If we weren't on a prog site, I'd recommend more pop/rock sounding Tull songs (Living in the past) to start getting into them, but i'm guessing you have tried to listen to them before and still can't gel with any of their songs, which is okay. In any case, I'll put my favourite Tull songs here because you asked ![]() No Lullaby Thick as a brick Songs from the wood Slipstream Minstrel in the gallery Heavy Horses Velvet Green The Whistler Aqualung |

I will refrain from choosing Thick as a Brick and A Passion Play, and go with just single compositions that don't cover whole albums.

The first songs on Thick As A Brick and A Passion Play are also pretty great. Shame there weren't any more good songs on those records. ![]() |

Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

I don't disagree but it makes it a bit dull for someone wanting to acquaint themselves with the music of Jethro Tull.

also not the best album for prog fans imo. Their run of albums from TAAB to Stormwatch is one of the best ever. All great stuff to get your teeth into. Aqualung is a bit like DSOTM for me , an excellent song based album that leave me wanting more of something else.

Almost anything from 'Aqualung' or 'Living in the Past', plus of course TAAB (all of it).
