A classic (and I like the score a lot).

Incredible! Did the director say why it was cut Jean?

the audience in the pre-release viewing was confused by the ending, so the producer had it cut out.

for me this ending is clear: the two are not the only people abducted by the ants, who conduct experiments on the abductees just like humans do on ants.

the cut version ends with "they wanted - us" and the two embracing

Blade Runner is my favourite film although Brazil is also well up there. The latter actually has a much better ending and the stuff with De Niro suddenly dropping into the apartment is a lot of fun. Great actors throughout in fact including the wonderful Francis Conroy who is probably best known for playing the batty mother in Soap but has also popped up recently in Castle Rock.

Without checking, I would have thought you were talking about Katherine Helmond who was in Brazil and Soap. She was also lovely in Gilliam's Time Bandits.

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I observed before. It can be much like that with music for me; immersed in experiencing the moment.
