What if that is 3D?

Those 3 D's are: Diamond Donnie Darko (the rabbit there). Star

I was just about to suggest Donnie Darko, so I might as well post what it really is.

A tartan ribbon.

Quote In 1861 Scottish mathematical physicist James Clerk Maxwell produced the earliest color photograph, an image of a tartan ribbon, by having it photographed three times through red, blue, and yellow filters, then recombining the images into one color composite. Because of this photograph Maxwell is credited as the founder of the theory of additive color.

I did that in high school, with home made blow guns.
We'd use the plastic shell of a BIC pen and a small chewed up piece of paper. Targets were any head within range ! LOL

Whatever it is, it looks tartan. It doesn’t look so much like a decoration to me, as the ribbon you’d use to hang up the decoration. I love the way it looks like a rabbit, though. But it’s not at all obvious what it actually is. 🤔

^ No dude. I just saw it on Twitter and copy-pasted the screenshot. If it were something that can be politically disturbing for some, I would do a search to verify beforehand.

^ I'm Shadowyzard's superior, the sorcerer-king! Tongue (That means this is my next account to that.)

Yeah, kid is kid. No matter what the "title" is. But I presume tons of their (nobility's) "formal" stuff should be boresome to death!

(This is a plausible argument which can refute the famous saying I mentioned at the beginning of the paragraph.)

Can nobility prevent boredom? Oh, it doesn't seem so. Even Prince Charles' "full title" is boring. Hahahah.

His full title is: His Royal Highness, Prince Charles Philip Arthur George, Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall, Duke of Rothesay, Earl of Carrick, Earl of Chester, Baron of Renfrew, Lord of the Isles, Prince and Great Intendant of Scotland , Knight Royal Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter, Extra Knight of the Oldest and Most Noble Order of the Wild Thistle, Grand Master and Main Knight of the Great Cross of the Most Honorable Order of the Bath, Member of the Order of Merit, Knight of Order of Australia, Fellow of the Queen's Order of Service, Member of Her Majesty's Most Honorable Private Council, Her Majesty's Field Helper.

X
My Dad saw the coronation in person. He did not mention being bored, but such things may be based on a matter of degree.

Well, this is not a "weird historical fact" per se, but it is kinda strange how such huge situations can alter in such (relatively) short periods.

Between the early and the late 17th century, the prospects for Britons in the Ottoman Maghreb changed. Beginning with the landmark treaties negotiated in 1662, British merchants established networks and trade links, built cultural and linguistic knowledge, and shared that knowledge with colleagues, superiors and the general public at home. As soon as they felt securely established, they started to establish families, together enjoying the climate and culture. Both men and women were able – by their knowledge, experience and networked clout – to advance themselves into high positions in business, government and even the nobility. The Maghreb had transformed, from a land dominated by corsairs and captives to a fertile and intriguing international partner. For a century before the age of European colonisation in the Maghreb, Britons and Maghrebis coexisted in relative peace.

For over 30 years!

Although store clerks were frequently exposed to the radiation from the machines, the radiation was more dangerous to children who placed their feet directly into the radiation. The exposure rate is thought to have been approximately 0.005 Gy to 0.058 Gy per second. If children tried on several pairs of shoes per visit it was posited that they could be exposed to as much as 0.1 Gy to 1.16 Gy. In fact, experiments indicated that radiation could exceed 1 microGy per hour as far as 10 feet away from the machine.

Even in 1950, researchers reported the maximum tolerated dose of radiation exposure was only 0.003 Gy per week. Slowly, case reports involving skin burns and stunting of bone and cartilage began to emerge.
