Can Utility followed closely by White Mountain.

Definitely White Mountain which is one of my Genesis favourites.

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I observed before. It can be much like that with music for me; immersed in experiencing the moment.

Wow, if you want to talk about tough choices... White Mountain managed to clinch it just above both Harlequin and Can Utility, a very close and truly brilliant trilogy of LPs spawning them.

The only ones I can think of from the Gabriel period that are sorely overlooked here are off the Lamb. Cuckoo Cocoon, ...Anaesthetist (favorite Hackett solo with Genesis), ...Slippermen, and Riding the Scree.

I left off Twilight Alehouse as it was a non-album track (at the time) and it was highly celebrated. I used a pub in the early 80s that had it on the juke box as the b-side to 'I Know What I Like' - the only time most of us heard it back then. Dusk resurfaced on the Archive set as well. I agree that there are probably a few more on The Lamb as well but I wanted to keep the poll concise otherwise the responses get too dissipated to be meaningful.
